Nature of request
The petitioner asks that his case be held before impartial justices of oyer and terminer (Brabazon and Hetchaum) because although he served the king well for a long time in his wars in Wales and Scotland he is now held in irons with the agreement of the king's council, for the robbery of Bereford and by the procurement of Bereford and Pippard who have pursued the petitioner through hatred and malice before justices, Pippard, Warwick, and Grenehull, who, through the procurement of Bereford are his close friends and enemies of the petitioner.

Release his person. And justices are to be assigned to this petition. [struck through]Release his person. And the king orders that justices other than Pippard and Grenehull should be appointed in this case etc., and that Warewik, Brabasoun, and Hetchaum, be appointed and a writ of venire facias returned etc., in the presence of Brabazon and his associates.
