Geoffrey de Karteret makes two requests:1) He states that the king gave his father all the tithes received by the Abbot of Mont St Michel in the parish of St Owen on the island of Jersey, but that the attorneys of Otto de Grandison would do nothing on this matter because 'Guernsey' was written in the letter instead of 'Jersey'. He requests a remedy.2) He requests a charter for the lands and tenements given to him by the king in Scotland.

[On dorse] Before the council.The form and date of the collation are to be made clear, and an answer is then to be given.[On face, below second petition] He is to await the king's coming to Scotland.
