Nature of request
Marion, widow of Robert de Karle, states that her husband was granted a corrody in the abbey of Monks Kirkby, but died before he could enter the abbey. However, Stephen, parson of Wormley, Adam le Waryner, and Stephen, the parson's servant, persuading her by a forged letter that he was alive and wanted her to go to him, lured her out of her house with all her possessions, and then robbed her. She requests a suitable remedy, as the malefactors are now present in London.
