The Friars Preacher of Ireland ask that for a writ to the Treasurer, Barons and Chamberlains of the Dublin Exchequer, to account with them for the amount which is in arrears of an alms which they should receive in the Exchequer, and to pay them immediately, or to assign the issues of the great custom in Dublin and Drogheda to them until they are paid.
Nature of endorsement
The Treasurer and Chamberlains are to be ordered that, when they have seen what evidence they have for the grant, and what is in arrears, they are to pay them as soon as they conveniently can.

Note
CCR 1327-30 p.138 is dated at York, 25 June 1327. A note on the guard notes that no reference is made there to arrears: however, the phrase 'from the time of the king's accession' might cover that. 'Irish Ancient Petitions' p.18 dates this petition to 1327.
