Note
CPR 1334-8 p.216 is dated at Alnwick, 8 November 1335, and p.218 is dated at Auckland, 8 December 1335. The assize seems to have been finished quite recently at this time, so a date of c. 1335 seems reasonable. SC 8/12/583 seems to date from 1337, at which point Henry Fitz Hugh is requesting a perambulation to establish whether the disputed lands are in Yorkshire or Westmorland: which explains why in SC 8/53/2622 he is concerned that this perambulation should go ahead.
