Henry Fitz Hugh asks that William de Shareshull and William Basset might be appointed to a commission to fix by a perambulation the bounds of the counties of Yorkshire and Westmorland, in place of William de Tweng who is in Scotland, and John Moryn who is Escheator.

CPR 1338-40 p.66 is dated at Westminster, 16 February 1338, and states that it was testified in parliament that the two men named in the petition were unavailable: the petition would therefore seem to have been presented to the parliament of February 1338.
