Nature of request
Richard atte Hou requests the king's permission to acquire from John Faucumberge, for himself, his wife, and their heirs, certain tenements in Eastburn, which are held of the king in chief, paying 4 marks annually for them; an inquisition has determined the value of these tenements, and that this would not be to the king's harm.
Nature of endorsement
It seems to the council that it is to be done if it pleases the lord king. Afterwards, the king, consulted on this, wished to grant what is asked.
