Hugh de Homeresfeld requests an attaint in a plea of land, which he lost through the false oath of the jurors, held before Ralph de Hengham while the king was overseas in the fifteenth year. He also alleges irregularities in the writ.Matthew del Eschecker makes the same request, having lost his land in the same way to the Prioress of Flixton.

This petition must date from after 15 Edward I (20 November 1286 - 19 November 1287). It is dated on the guard to '1287 seq.' with reference to Ralph de Hengam, and below to 'probably 1289 or 1290', with reference to a note on the face, below the petition, which reads 'Suff. Post transfretacionem regis'. A suit between Matthew of the Exchequer and William of Wast Hills, heard in parliament in 1290 is found in Rot. Parl. vol. I, p.22a-b.
