John de la Hok states that John Giffard of Bremmesfeld and Margaret his wife purchased, for themselves and their heirs, a carucate of land with appurtenances in Orcheston, which Margaret gave him, after her husband's death, to hold for him and his heirs. But now the king has granted the reversion of that land after Margaret's death, with other lands and tenements, to Ralph de Wilynton, on the assumption that Margaret was a tenant for life only.
