Note
Dated on the guard to 1375-1377, but probably 1375, with reference to CFR 1369-77 pp.317 and 384, and CCR 1374-7 pp.179 and 465.CCR 1374-7 p.179 (dated at Westminster, 8 December 1375) would seem to suggest 1375 as a likely date, but CCR 1374-7 p.465, dated at Westminster, 28 October 1376, shows that the matter was not resolved as quickly as it might appear.CFR 1369-77 p.317 is dated 30 November 1375 and CFR 1369-77 p.384 is dated 28 February 1377.CPR 1374-7 p.164 is dated at Rockingham, 5 September 1375.Totham is Little Totham (Feudal Aids, ii, p.131)
