William Hereford states that long before his death Edmund, Earl of Cornwall granted him the custody of the park, foreign wood and warren of Berkhamsted for life. He asks the king to confirm his charter for this.

Coram rege.His charter is to be examined.He is to go to the Treasurer and make fine, and what he asks is to be done.It is to be done by a fine of 20s. and they are to be enrolled in the rolls of Chancery.
