Nature of request
Edmund de Hauberdyn, formerly parson of White Waltham near Windsor, states that Hugh le Despenser wished him to exchange his parish for that of Beaconsfield, with one Andrew Saddok, Hugh's privy clerk, although Beaconsfield was worth less, and to persuade him to do this he wrote letters saying that he was of the adherence of Roger de Mortimer, the king's enemy, and finally had him seized and imprisoned. He requests a remedy, so that he can have his church of White Waltham back.

With regard to the imprisonment, he is to sue at common law. With regard to the resignation, it does not fall under the cognisance of the king's court.
