Walter le Hauberger states that he came from Ireland to England to seek a remedy for a wilful judgment given against him in Ireland in the presence of the Justiciar, and that he remained in England with Ralph Pippard in the company of the Earl of Cornwall for the duration of the war in Wales. And while he was in England the Justiciar of Ireland came to sue his record and, through an inquest held in County Louth, had his Irishmen taken from County Dublin to County Louth and hanged there, allegedly for theft; and he and his wife have been put in exigent and then outlawed for harbouring them. He requests the king's grace and a remedy.
