Nature of request
Copy of writ of Edward III to Richard de Chilton, asking him to give satisfaction to the executors of John de Hasting for the goods and chattels of John's which Hugh le Despenser the younger occupied, under pretext of the wardship granted to him of John's lands and heir, as has been found by an inquisition held at the petition of the executors.
Nature of endorsement
[Endorsement to SC 8/51/2507] It is attested before the council that a writ containing the effect of this petition is pending in the Exchequer.
