Harier requests remedy as he has not been able to have allowance or restoration for a sum that the collectors of the port of London took from wool that he had brought to the port beyond the rate of the custom as a loan to the use of the king in the first year of his reign, though he has letters patent from them sealed with the coket.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer that when they have viewed the letters mentioned by the petition, if they find that the debt is still due then they are to make payment, assignment or allowance as it demands as quickly as they are able, receiving the letters and charging etc.
