Hales requests that a debt that he is charged with together with But for the time when they were customers in Norwich be allowed against a debt for cloth that the late king owed to him as appears by a bill sealed by the late treasurer of the Wardrobe.

Let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that they view the bill of which the petition makes mention, and if they find that the debt is still due to Hales they are to make allowance of the debt in the debts that he owes to the king
