Nature of request
Godes requests that he be able to have restitution of his ship and goods according to the sufferance, or that execution of the judgement be done according to the process that lately passed before the jurors and ministers. The boat and goods were arrested by Cheny on the king's behalf, and seized on the sea by Eskirmissur around the isle, and Godes proved his claim before the ministers and jurors of the Isle. Cheny will not give the boat or goods up either by writ of the king, or by challenge that he is able to put a fresh suit, thus he retained part and is still seised of the boat and the remainder he will deliver at his will against the form of the sufferance.
