Nature of request
Gloucestre requests that it be ordained that he have restitution of the improvements that the king has received for the keeping of his land and his marriage as Waldeshef has paid £30 of the fine to the Exchequer for the wardship, and that he is able to have a writ to Waldeshef that he pay the £30 that are in arrears, and the other £30 be assigned to be paid to him. His father held land in Bloomsbury for the service of one mewed sparrowhawk.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that they search the sergeanties at the Exchequer in the rolls and remembrances there, and certify on this in Chancery, and in the meantime let Walter have respite of the £30 which is still in demand against him of the £60.
