Gyngeure requests that law and reason be done to him concerning the mill of Ham which was the inheritance of his mother, and which Godfrey Gyngeure alienated to the earl of Arundel, as his mother could not contradict this. He is son and heir of Joan Gyngeure, and it is clearly his heritage.
Nature of endorsement
He should state in whose hands the mill is, and if it is not in the hand of the king, he should sue at the common law.
