Nature of request
Godefeld requests justices of oyer and terminer be assigned, as armed men came to their house and feloniously killed her husband . . ., and because of the maintenance in the county. She further requests that her attaint that has been delayed 7 years or more be continued.
Nature of endorsement
Because it is attested before the council that the contents in the petition are notorious and horrible, Eyncourt, Friskeneye and Malberthorp and two of them be assigned to inquire, and concerning the felony, hear and determine it according to the law.Concerning the attaint she should sue in Chancery to have it changed.
