Nature of request
1) Gutardi requests that the king confirm his letters of the king's father, which granted to him the office of comptroller and a moiety of the issues of the seal at Bordeaux for contracts for the term of his life.2) He requests that he be granted letters that he be able to charge the constable of Bordeaux for his attourney . . .1)
Nature of endorsement
Concerning the first, in regard to his good service that he has done and will do, it seems to the council should grant to him his grace.2) Concerning the second, let it be done that seneschal assents to the person he chooses, and that the counter roll is to be brought under the seal of Gascony.3) Because Ingham has attested before the council that he has viewed the letters by which the things contained in the petition were granted to Gutardi for the term of his life as it is supposed, let it be confirmed as it is desired.
