- Peredur requests the king grant to him grace and remedy as he is aggrieved and unjustly distrained to pay the extent and annual rent for his inheritance of which his father died in the last war in Wales. And the late king gave his grace to the heirs of all those who died at that time. Because Peredur was so young and weak that he could not come to the king he is now distrained to pay the extent and rent, and asks to pay only the annual rent.
