- The petitioner seeks payment of the large costs he has incurred in defending the four marshlands from great misfortune and loss to the king and his commons, particularly for his maintenance of the walls protecting the marshlands of Greenwich. The petitioner has the right to such contributions by the recorded judgement of the king's justices, but the payments have been delayed to his great loss.
