- The petitioner states that he has given guarantees worth £124 to Wodehouse (the king's treasurer) and to the chamberlains of the exchequer on condition that they will settle his bill of account on behalf of the chamber and for meat and other provisions supplied to Philippa (the king's wife), and he has not been paid according to the king's commandment in the matter. The petitioner asks the king to order that payment be granted to him within five months if he is not to suffer loss.
