1) The petitioner shows that Edmund, late Earl of Lancaster, granted his church an annual rent of 20s from his mills in Embleton in perpetual alms. The rent has not paid been for two years since the death of Thomas, Earl of Lancaster, while the mills remain in the king's hands. The petitioner asks the king for payment of the said rent with arrears.2) Copy of the original grant by Edmund, Earl of Lancaster, 4 December 1285.3) Copy of a confirmation of the original grant, by King Edward I, 10 February 1286.

The petition is to be viewed in chancery and if found to be correct the prior is to be paid with arrears.
