- Warren Fatting, butcher of London, states that Robert Turk, purchaser for the king, bought meat from him for the king's use in the first, second, third and seventh years of the reign, for which he has tallies, and also of similar prises by Ralph Spray, purchaser for the king; and he requests a remedy.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- CPR 1313-17 p.11 is dated at Windsor, 8 August 1313. The petition mentions the latest purchases being made in 7 Edward II (8 July 1313 - 7 July 1314), so must date from after that year. It is also clear from the petition that Ralph Spray is no longer a purchaser. He is mentioned in this capacity a number of times in the following years (CPR 1313-17 pp.166,188,293,349, 436 and 486) - the last being dated at Westminster, 3 July 1316. CPR 1313-17 pp.565-6 (Cawood, 25 November 1316), however, mentions him as a purveyor for the household of Queen Isabella, and he is afterwards mentioned in that capacity (see, for example, CPR 1317-21 pp.12,138,216,267,412,564 (the last dated 22 February 1321)): perhaps this is what the petition means when it speaks of when he was the king's purchaser. There is an unrelated mention of Warren Fatting in CPR 1317-21 p.569, dated at Westminster, 28 February 1321. The Latin endorsement would suggest that this petition is unlikely to date from much later than 1322.
