Note
CFR 1327-37 p.284 is dated at Windsor, 27 October 1331.CPR 1330-4 p.324 is dated at Wigmore, 2 August 1332. The original grant of custody of this manor was the one made on 27 October 1331, as above.CPR 1334-8 p.14 is dated at Westminster, 24 September 1334.The commission for the inquisition in CMI 1307-1349 no.1232 is dated 8 April 5 Edward III (1331). The manor was taken into the king's hands at Easter 4 Edward III (1330) - although, as seen above, the grant of custody to John de Pulteneye was not made until October 1331. This petition probably dates from shortly after that, in any case before April 1351, when John did homage for his lands.
