- The community of the East Riding of Yorkshire state that although the king and his council have ordained that no-one is to take another's goods except through purchase or prise, and that these goods are to be paid for, people claiming to be the king's are going from vill to vill in the East Riding taking and carrying off goods without paying, and beating or arresting anyone who challenges them. They request a remedy.
