Geoffrey de Everwyk, monk of Dunfermline, who has been expelled from his house by the Scots because he was born in England, and especially because he uncovered certain Scottish plots against the late king, requests honourable sustenance until God ordains for those parts so that he can go back to his own house.

Coram rege.He is to search out a house not otherwise charged by the king, and to inform him about this; and afterwards the king will do his will.
