Echingeham states that whilst he was remaining in the household of the king he was ordered to the parliament of St John at London last. Robert de la Beche and others at the request of Badlesmere and others came to his house at Padbury and carried away goods to the value of 200 marks to the house of Philip de la Beche. After the felony Nicholas de la Beche has sheltered and maintained Thomas Wade. Echingeham requests a remedy.
