Prior of the Brothers Preachers (Dominican Friars).
Nature of request
The prior requests an inquisition of the king to see if it is to the king's damage if Hawys assigns a rent to the master and brothers of the hospital of St Leonard, York in York in exchange for a rent which they used to receive from other land in York which Gruscy holds and wishes to assign to the friars preachers.
