Nature of request
Rade states that he was pursued by the French to Orford Ness, where he was rescued by the people there, who have demanded money for the rescue and hold his boat to his great damage. He requests remedy.
Nature of endorsement
10 February 1403 the council assented that a writ be made to the people of Orford Ness that having received 40s. from the petitioner for the rescue they should return his boat.
