Nature of request
Duresme states that he lent a certain sum to the king's father by the hands of the collectors of customs at Newcastle and has received nothing back. He requests that payment be ordered or an allowance be made for him in his exports of wool from Newcastle.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer that they view the letters mentioned by the petition, and if they find that the debt is still due then he should have payment, assignment or allowance as quickly as they are able, receiving and charging.
