Nature of request
The petitioners state that they owe the king and his father £100 of a debt for victuals that they bought. Their lands in Northumberland and Scotland are ravaged, and they have been burdened by the coming of kings. They request that they be released from the £100.
Nature of endorsement
It seems to the council that if it pleases the king that because the petitioners have suffered great damage from the enemies, and the king has pardoned all the others of the country that the king pardon them the £100 as the petition requests.
