Note
The wages which form part of the sums claimed are for periods lasting until Easter or June 10 Edward I (1282): so the memorandum is likely to date from shortly after that. Robert de Ufford, who authorized the payments but is no longer Justiciar, was Justiciar between June 1276 and November 1281. 'Irish Ancient Petitions', p.14 dates the petition to 1281-2.
