Nature of request
Writ from Edward III to the Treasurer, Barons and Chamberlains of the Exchequer, asking them to examine the bond which William de Dunston, executor of the testament of Roger de Lincolnia has for £20 owed to Roger by Edward I, and, if they find that the debt is still owed, to make allowance in this amount for 100s. that William owes the king, and to let him have payment or an allowance for the remainder.
