Despenser requests that it be ordered that he be delivered from gaol and that right be done to him since the king has granted him a pardon of forfeiture of life and limb and suit of his peace for his offences in holding Caerphilly castle, but he has been held in prison ever since.1)

Coram rege.2) It seems to the council that if he be detained in prison for no other cause, that he ought to be delivered according to the purport of his charter if it pleases the king.
