Abbot and convent of Darley.
Addressees
King and council
Nature of request
The petitioners request confirmation of their charters of their founders for a reasonable fine in the words comprised in an attached schedule.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition be ordered into Chancery, and there let the charters be confirmed for a reasonable fine if this is not to the king's prejudice.

The guard notes date this to c. 1330. This does not seem unreasonable and would fit well with the quo warranto hearings for Darley held in July 1330 (Placita de quo warranto, p.136).
