Nature of request
The burgesse requests remedy as they are distrained by the bailiffs of Dynevor to pay 7d. for each brewing of ale against reason since they are not their tenants.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the justice of the South Wales that he not permit the tenants of the bishop to be distrained by the bailiffs of the king to do other services than those that they are accustomed to do for brewing or for other things, and let it be ordered by the king's writ.
