- The commonalty request that the king will end the custom in the county whereby people are arrested by suspicion of a bailiff only, and that they be able to be at the common law and according to the statute of Winchester where people are taken by indictment and suspicion.

- The date is not readily identifiable. The guard comment says that it dates to 'temp. Edw. II' on the basis of the SCCKB reference; but there is no justification for this and a date in Edward I's would seem equally plausible.
