Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition appears to date to 1307 for a writ was sent to the sheriff of Bedfordshire to supersede the demand for scutage from Crumbewelle. However the writ doesn't seem to be quite what the petition requested, so it is possible that the writ was not in answer to the petition (CCR 1302-7, pp.491-2).
