1) Coudray states that he served in the war of Gascony in the service of the king and was taxed in two taxes out of the Exchequer which was levied on his lands and chattels at the same time that he was in the king's protection. Coudray requests grace concerning the demand in Hampshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.2) Copy of a writ of the king to the sheriff of Buckingham.

The petition dates to 1320 for a writ to the collectors in Southampton to supersede the demands made on the petitioner was issued on 28 January 1320 (CCR 1318-23, pp.181-2). In addition the writ copied below the petition is dated 25 October 1318.
