Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is likely to date to 1444 as Cromwell's feoffees with the addition of the bishop of Lincoln were confirmed in their estate in the same lands on 21 May 1444 (CPR 1441-6, pp.267-8). This was presumably as a result of the resolution of the dispute between the Duke of Exeter and Cromwell.
