Nature of request
Coue states that the master of the Temple lately held from him and his wife lands and rent in Lound. When the order of the Temple was dissolved they seized the tenements as their escheat but were ousted by Beaumont. Coue requests remedy be made.

Note
The Templars were suppressed in England in 1308, and on the continent in 1312. The lands were held by the petitioner for two years after the Templars were dissolved. The petition probably dates to shortly after this period.
