Nature of request
Comyn states that her husband died at Stirling, and afterwards she has had so much hardship in England that she went to Scotland with Edward II's consent. And because she resided amongst the king's enemies, the lands and tenements assigned to her were seized into his hand. She has returned to England by the king's letters patent and requests that because she was unable to have anything of her Scottish lands because she and her husband were of the faith of England, that she is able to have her lands in England.
Nature of endorsement
Let the letters of agreement that she had to go into Scotland and to come back into England be viewed in Chancery, and the chancellor call Beche and hear his arguments and do justice to Comyn and grace if grace is able to be made.
