1) Colkirke complains of . . . that he wrongfully took from him 2 oxen on Thursday next after Michaelmas in the 7th year from Honingham Thorpe and still retains them. Colkirke brought a writ of the king to replevy them, but Walter came and would not agree to this against the peace of the king to his damage. He requests remedy.2) He further complains of Pulhom that he bought corn from him and paid 5 marks in advance. Pulhom retains the corn and the 5 marks, and Colkirke brought a writ on him in the eyre of the justice of Norfolk for the 5 marks, but Pulhom procured his imprisonment to his damage.1)
