Nature of request
The executors show that Edward II was bound to the bishop in a certain sum of money for his expenses going to France and Gascony, and for the business he conducted there as appears by bills under the seal of the Wardrobe. They request that the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer be ordered by writ to make payment or due assignment. By the entreaty of Adam de Brom.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains that when they have viewed the bills they make payment of assignment of the debts, receiving and charging etc.
