Nature of request
Copy of an agreement between the king, chancellor and treasurer on the one part and Sircos and his companions on the other that Sircos will show the king the best way to make gold and silver coin, and if this council is better than any other, Sircos and his companions will be granted that they will be receivers of all gold and silver brought to work, and that they will be chief makers of all the money if they behave well.
