- Clavering shows that Payn and other malefactors by force and arms took five boats of his at Walberswick and carried away his goods in the boats, and assaulted and imprisoned his servants so that he was deprived of their service to his damage. He requests remedy by oyer and terminer.

- The petition probably dates to 1330 as a commission of oyer and terminer was issued on a similar matter against the same malefactors on 13 January 1331 (CPR 1330-4, p.62).
