- Cheddeworth shows that he was ordered by the king's father to pay a sum of money to Hugh Audley. He paid part of this but the bill was not accepted because he had not been able to pay it, and the sum he had paid was not allowed on his account. He requests that a writ be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that he have an allowance, and charging those that ought to be charged of right.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- The matter seems to have gone right back to c. 1317, but this petition is clearly early Edward III as it refers to orders made by Edward II. It seems that a date of 1327-1330 are likely.
